Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Kung Fu Scrolls handles personal information when you browse the website, use a form, create or use an account, purchase or receive a digital manual, request support, or authorize internal Search Console monitoring.
Information we collect
The information involved depends on the service you choose to use. We do not ask for more information than the relevant form, account, order, delivery, support, or monitoring purpose requires.
- Forms: information you choose to provide through Tally, including email and, where shown, interests, practice background, release-notification consent, an optional name, a privacy request type, and a message.
- Accounts: email and authentication information processed through Supabase when account features are configured and used.
- Orders and digital delivery: customer or hashed email identifiers, order and payment references, transaction status, amount and currency, product entitlements, and access, download, or audit records where needed to operate the purchase and delivery path.
- Technical information: Cloudflare and other service infrastructure may process network, browser, device, request, security, and service-log information in normal operation. The exact fields and retention can vary by provider and service configuration.
- Google Search Console: read-only indexing, sitemap, URL inspection, and search-performance information for the Kung Fu Scrolls property.
How we use information
We use information to operate the website and forms, provide account access, process and reconcile orders, deliver purchased digital manuals, maintain entitlements, answer support and privacy requests, protect the service, meet applicable obligations, and monitor the discoverability of our own public pages.
Privacy Request submissions are operational communications. They do not enroll the requester in Early Access, a newsletter, or another marketing list.
Forms
Kung Fu Scrolls currently uses Tally for public form submissions. Tally may process the information entered into an Early Access or Privacy Request form so that the submission can be received and reviewed in the authenticated form workspace.
The Privacy Request form is separate from the Early Access form. It asks for an email, request type, and message, with name optional. Do not place passwords, payment-card details, government identification, or other highly sensitive credentials in a form message.
Accounts, orders, payments, and delivery
Supabase supports configured account and authentication functions. Dodo Payments handles payment processing. Kung Fu Scrolls does not ask you to send payment-card details through its public forms or support text.
Cloudflare services support the public site and parts of the account, order, entitlement, and digital-delivery infrastructure. Order and delivery records may be used to confirm ownership, provide access, investigate failed delivery, and handle a support or privacy request.
Service providers and sharing
Information may be handled by service providers that support the selected feature, including Tally, Supabase, Dodo Payments, Cloudflare, and Google. We share information only as needed to operate those services, protect the service, respond to a request, or meet an applicable obligation.
We do not sell Google API user data, use it for advertising profiling, or share it for unrelated third-party purposes.
Google API data
Kung Fu Scrolls uses Google Search Console authorization only for the Kung Fu Scrolls property and for internal SEO/GEO operations. The intended authorization is read-only and is used to inspect site ownership access, sitemap processing, URL indexing status, and search-performance data.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including account, transaction, entitlement, delivery, support, privacy-request, security, and recordkeeping needs. Provider systems may apply their own operational retention and deletion processes.
No single fixed retention period is stated here because the appropriate period depends on the record and the service involved. A privacy request can be used to ask about or request deletion of information associated with you, subject to records that must reasonably be retained.
Security
We use access controls and service-provider security features intended to protect information and keep customer-only material away from public pages. No internet service can promise absolute security, so please avoid sending sensitive credentials through public forms.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with you, or ask another privacy question, through the dedicated Privacy Request form. We may need enough information to reasonably match a request to the relevant form, account, order, or delivery record before acting on it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, service providers, account or delivery systems, or legal and operational requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current published version.
